23 Pilot House

Trailerability, cruisability, livability

Possibly the most innovative trailer sailer we have seen, the Com-Pac Pilot House is like no other. The newest design by Com-Pac Yachts, this vessel has already received awards for its design. What makes this 23 foot trailerable sailboat unique is its trailerability, cruisability, and livability.

The CP 23 Pilothouse is designed with many well thought out features and Com-Pac's attention to detail. A choice of steering positions either inside the pilothouse during inclement weather, in addition to tiller steering in the aft cockpit.

While under way or at anchor excellent natural light and visibility is a feature from inside the pilot house. Abundant storage space, including 2 hanging lockers, is throughout the vessel.

With a draft of less than 70cm even the most protected anchorage is easily accessible. A 12hp twin cylinder freshwater-cooled diesel engine effortlessly pushes the Com-Pac 23 along. Accommodation is for 3 adults in full sized comfortable berths. Rarely seen in a 23 foot boat is a standing enclosed head and a galley with ice box.

The mast is mounted in a tabernacle that allows it to be folded down for trailering. With a towing weight of less than 2 tonne most family cars will tow it with ease.
