Price: You will not find a new 26 foot power or sailboat for this price. Let alone a cruiser that has 6 comfortable berths, enclosed head, dining table and galley.

Low Running Costs: If you keep your MacGregor on its trailer, there are no mooring fees and maintenance costs are greatly reduced. Yearly antifouling is not required and wear and tear on a trailerable boat is far less than a moored boat.

The Benefits of a Trailer: Having a boat on a trailer greatly increases your ability to visit a greater range cruising areas. By towing your MacGregor a few hours you can be in waters that would take a keel boat days to get to.

Clubs, Forums and Associations: You will struggle to find a larger network of boat owners than those of Macgregor's. Worldwide there are many clubs and associtiaons. On the Internet there are some wonderful websites that offer a great deal of information, encouragement and ideas.
